Mr. Theodore Hanson

Mr. Hanson is the Chief Executive Officer of ASGN Incorporated, a leading provider of IT services and solutions to the commercial and government sectors, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. He has served as the company's CEO and a member of its Board of Directors since May 2019. ASGN helps corporate enterprises and government organizations develop, implement, and operate critical IT and business solutions through its integrated offerings. 

Mr. Hanson first joined ASGN in May 2012 and has been part of a team that supported the growth of ASGN's revenues from $1.5 billion in 2012 to over $4 billion today. 

Mr. Hanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. He serves on the board for the Pamplin Advisory Council and is a Co-Founder of the Apex Center for Entrepreneurs, Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. A large contributor to the local business community, Mr. Hanson was inducted into the Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame in May 2023 and featured in Virginia Business magazine's “Virginia 500” list of the most powerful and influential business leaders in Virginia in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Mr. Hanson was appointed on July 1, 2025 by Governor Youngkin.
